Our History

Sithela Acres Farm is located in the outskirts of Nairobi, in Kiambu county. The area known for its cool temperatures and high rainfall is ideal for agriculture. The farm began on the bare, rolling hills where the pioneers initiated their first cultivation of tea by hand in 1989. Today the farm boasts of 124 hectares, covered by 412,200 tea bushes and various other activities. In 2017, avocado farming joined the venture, enriching the diversity of products that Sithela Acres has to offer. These all culminate to the rich legacy of sustainable agriculture practices that the farm abides too.
